The increasing cost of living and housing crisis, along with issues such as the misuse of police powers, fines and debt, and the inequalities and injustices faced by First Nations people, have contributed to the legal challenges facing the communities we work with.
Over the past year, we have grappled with the ongoing repercussions of the pandemic, addressing issues related to fines, housing and evolving international student visa conditions.
This year, we provided thousands of people with free legal information, advice and representation. We delivered community legal education online and in person to thousands of community workers.
We advocated for positive change to increase equality and justice.
