This factsheet provides information about two important changes to overseas driving licences in NSW that apply from 1 July 2023.
Who do the new rules apply to?
These changes affect all international students who:
- arrive in NSW on or after 1 July 2023;
- intend to stay in NSW for 6 months or more;
- hold a valid overseas driving licence; and
- want or need to drive while they are in NSW.
What are the new rules?
